I started my career with LexisNexis in March of 1994. Prior to joining this great company I worked for two other large multi-national corporations - IBM and Eastman Kodak. I can say with complete conviction that LexisNexis has the best culture and provides the greatest opportunities for its performers than either of those other two corporations.
Most of my work with LexisNexis has been based out of our Washington, DC office in the US always in a Sales and Sales Management capacity. Most recently I was assigned as Sales Director, LexisNexis China and relocated to Beijing. I am so proud to be a part of a company that rewards its people by providing exciting opportunities such as this incredible international position. I would have never imagined I would have been assigned a role in China - but LexisNexis made that happen for me.
I will have to say that working at LexisNexis demands discipline, hard work, smart work, and a driving commitment to win. Our values as a company are Customer Focus, Valuing People, Teamwork, Innovation and Boundarylessness - all of which I see demonstrated on a daily basis. The reward for my commitment to this company has been tremendous. I have traveled all over the United States (including Hawaii!), the UK, Amsterdam, the Caribbean, Greece, China, Hong Kong, Monaco and Australia - either for business meetings or special reward incentive trips. So, the hard work will pay off and deliver amazing opportunities.
I hope you consider LexisNexis as a career destination - not a job. It has been the most rewarding experience in my life, and I am proud to say I work at LexisNexis.
